Blue Power Golden Ticket Promotion

Duration of the competition – Wednesday, August 30, 2023 to Saturday, November 4, 2023

Mechanics

1.       Buy any Blue Power Castile Soap from any Supermarket or Wholesale.

2.       Look inside the wrapper and check if you’ve found a Golden Ticket.

3.      Fill out the form and enter the code on the golden ticket on our code redemption portal at bluepowerja.com/GoldenTicket

4.      Check your email. We will send you an email to let you know what you’ve won and how you go about claiming your prize.

Rules

1.      Entrants MUST be 18 years or older at the time of entry.

2.      Contestants MUST purchase Blue Power Castile to enter.

3.      Entrants MUST be a permanent resident of Jamaica. 

4.      There is no limit to the number of codes any one person is able to redeem.

5.      Entrants who have found golden tickets must retain these tickets until their prize is collected.

6.      All winners claiming their prizes must provide their valid government issued photo identification (Driver’s Licence, Passport or National ID) and the Golden Ticket used to redeem the prize.

7.      Individuals selected/winners will forfeit their claim to a prize for any of the following reasons:

a.       Inability to produce valid photo identification (Driver’s Licence, Passport or National ID) and the Golden ticket with the corresponding code submitted to redeem either a Cash Prize or Tablet. All the prerequisites must be submitted at time of collection of the Tablet and Cash prizes.

b.      Refusing to allow Blue Power Group Limited to use their name and likeness and/or to participate in Blue Power Group Limited’s advertising and public relations relating to the competition whether in electronic, print or other media.

c.       Employees and contracted employees of Blue Power Group Limited, its affiliates, its auditors, and members of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission and the immediate families of the above-named groups – that is their parents, siblings, spouse or children – are ineligible for participation of any kind.

8.      Final date and time for entering the promotion or any of its associated elements is Saturday, November 4, 2023  at 11:59p.m. This is considered the deadline to submit a qualifying code for redemption.  

9.      Prizes are non-transferable and the determination of winners is final.  Once the criteria are met for claiming a prize and a prize awarded, any person(s) wishing to dispute the awarding of the prize should send communication in writing to the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission.

Date of selection

1.       Winners will be announced rather than selected given the nature of the promotion.

2.       Announcements will be made weekly on our Facebook & Instagram (@bluepowerja) social media profiles.

3.       Cash Prize winners will be announced in the week of October 29, 2023.

4.       Winners of Tablets will be announced the week after the corresponding code is redeemed.

5.       Phone Credit winners will be announced weekly; however the voucher will be sent via the winner’s email address once the correct code has been submitted.

Method of notifying winners

1.       Winners will be notified via the email provided on the code redemption form.

2.       If a response is not returned via email after seventy-two (72) hours, participants will be notified via phone call the following business day. A maximum of 3 attempts (morning, early afternoon & late afternoon) will be made to contact the winner between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

3.       If the participant has permitted us to contact them via WhatsApp, a WhatsApp message will also be sent in the late afternoon of the following business day after the seventy-two (72) hour window to respond to the email has passed.

Detail of prize/s

1.       Prizes are non-transferrable and should be collected by the customer who completed the entry form.

2.       Tablet and phone credit Prizes are NOT redeemable for cash.

3.       If the winner is unable to collect their prizes in person, the winner must state in a signed letter that a family member or acquaintance will collect on their behalf. This letter must be stamped and signed by Justice of Peace (JP). This person must present a copy of a valid government issued photo ID for themselves and the winner upon collecting the prize.

4.       Blue Power Group Limited must be notified about such instances at least one (1) day before the person will be collecting on behalf of the winner.

5.       If opting for cash or cheque, the winners will be required to call us to arrange payment.

a.       Winners who request to be paid by cash or cheque are required to collect same by the latest Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

6.       If opting for wire transfer, winners must share their account details with us via email no later than Friday November 24, 2023.

Claiming period

1.       All codes for the ticket must be submitted during the promotional period. Failure to do so will deem the ticket invalid and unredeemable.

2.       Winners are required to claim prizes within 30 days of notification. All unclaimed Prizes will be retained by Blue Power Group Limited.
